Through guidance and mentoring, we seek to support students in the learning process – in acquiring knowledge and their personal development and formation. Working with teachers and parents, who are included in the process, is fundamental in order to coordinate the steps to be taken in the students’ benefit and identify any difficulties that could affect their overall development and adjustment to the school early on.

This process of working with students is both individually and in groups, which allows us to identify each group’s strengths and weaknesses and each individual student’s academic, emotional and behavioral development.

Observation and interviews facilitate prevention and timely intervention regarding any difficulties that may arise, in a process that involves the participation of teachers, students and parents.

In coordination with thePsycho-social Support Department, tutors hold tutoring sessions in which they address the group’s needs and various topics in order to strengthen the students’ cognitive and socio-emotional development. In this respect, we are supported by external specialists who enrich the work and vision of the students, parents and teachers.

In addition, individual guidance for students includes interviews and assessments which seek to identify and overcome any difficulties that may arise, and individual and/or group counseling sessions to develop strategies to face these issues.

We apply an interdisciplinary approach in coordination with various specialists to address a student’s particular needs, forming an intervention network to work together to help the student as a team.

We have a team of six professionals who work in coordination for the pre-school, elementary and high school levels.
